Product Details
We can’t knit ruby slippers like Dorothy of the Wizard of Oz had, but we can certainly show of some flashy ruby socks. You might have to continually lift your pant leg to show off these sparklers. I think you might need to knit a pair in every color.
The socks are constructed from the cuff down, and beads are added to the textured stitch by using the crochet hook method. The glass beads are size 6/0 and I used about 300 for the pair. I included a note on how to use the crochet hook method of adding beads in the pattern.
