Product Details
This is my own design knitting pattern for some really cozy slipper socks or bed socks. They are made using a chunky / bulky yarn which is used double throughout so they knit up really quickly and are nice and warm to wear. Needle size 8mm (US 11).
These are knit on two straight needles.
The pattern includes 4 different variations, three have a simple cable pattern up the front and the fourth is worked in garter stitch throughout.Buttons and pom poms are used to add interest.
I give instructions for two sizes ladies Medium (uk size 4 to 6 EU 37-39.5, US 6-8) and ladies Large (UK size 6 to 8, EU 39.5-42, US 8-10.5).
I have used King Cole Value Chunky wool but any chunky yarn can be used if correct tension is acheived.
Tension 10 sts and 20 rows to 10cm over garter stitch using wool double on 8mm needles
You will need 2 x 100g balls for three cable styles and 3 x 100g ball for the pom pom style. (Based on 152 meters per ball).
