Cradle Convertible Mitts
I was inspired by the sleeves of my infant daughter’s nightie to make these mitts. Instead of the traditional flip-top of a convertible mitten, the top is joined to the mitt on three sides and functions as a decorative cuff when not in use.
Cradle Convertible Mitts are knit in the round on dpns with a simple gusset thumb. Flaps on the hands and thumbs allow them to be worn either as mitts or as mittens. The pattern offers three sizes.
You will need approximately 125 (145, 165) yards of a heavy worsted or aran-weight wool for best results.
