I designed and knitted this shawl just for fun of creating a shawl that could look good both on the right and wrong sides. The pattern alternates knit and purl, which gives a different aspect on the wrong side and there are some who like the ‘reverse’ even more than the ‘front’.
It is a sister shawl to Marduta, they both are reversible.
The yarn can range from Lace to Sock, depending on how airy you want it to be, gauge is not crucial and depends on the yarn and the needles that you choose to knit with.
The pattern can be customized by using different yarns, needle sizes, or adding repeats to the pattern. The size given is only approximate, you can choose how wide and long your shawl is going to be.
The shawl is easy to knit if you know some basic lace stitches – increasing, decreasing and yarnovers. It is also fun to knit, not too complicated and yet not boring either.
