Product Details
The Darya-ye Noor, part of the Iranian Crown Jewels, is one of the largest diamonds in the world, and its pale pink color is one of the rarest to be found in diamonds.
The openwork patterns of these socks are diamond shaped, and the large diamond also reminds me of the center motifs of persian carpets, so I found Darya to be a fitting name.
Construction
This design is worked toe up, starting with a figure eight cast on, or invisible cast on of your choice. The short row heel is made deeper with a small gusset, which gives a good fit even for us with high arches.

This design can be worked with double pointed needles, two circular needles, or one long circular needle for Magic Loop. The pattern uses markers to orient you within the work.
