This easy to work, but intricate looking lace pattern reminds me of raindrops running down a windowpane, forming small rivulets.
The rib around the knuckles is slightly shaped with short rows, longer on the back of the hand and shorter on the palm side, making it possible to close the fist without having the rib roll up.
