Product Details
Named for a pioneering (and stylish) aviatrix, Dutrieu’s bold lines make the most of hand-painted sock yarn. While the sideways garter-stitch construction is easy and fun to work, short rows plus a widening brim result in unpredictable colour changes that add a note of adventure to this simple cloche.
The pattern is written for two sizes and includes tutorials for the provisional cast-on and garter stitch grafting.
The sample is shown in Cloudborn Fibers Highland Superwash Sock Twist Handpaints, in size 22in on model with 21.5in circumference head.
