Edith’s Garden is an extremely easy scarf to knit. All you need to know how to do is the Knit Stitch.
If you are looking for an easy but lacy look, Edith’s Garden is the scarf for you. Edith, my Grandmother always had wonderful flowers growing around her property. They were beautiful.
The yarn I select when designing this scarf is a handspun, hand dyed worsted weight. The wonderful blues, greens and pinks make a delightful garden look. This scarf can be knit in any type of yarn, however, you may need to alter the needle size.
This scarf does not need to be blocked, but can be if you would like the lace holes to be more prominent. This would be a great scarf pattern to felt after. The texture would be terrific.
Here are the stitches you need to know -
Slp1—slip one stitch from left needle to right needle with yarn held in back and do not knit it.
