Four Christmas Robins Jacket/Cardigan Knitting Pattern by Pizpaw Patterns to fit a baby or toddler in 2 different sizes: 6-12 and 18-24 months.
To fit chest: 18 and 20 inches or 46 and 51 cms.
The jacket has 2 robin motifs to the front and 2 robin motifs on the back and a cable pattern to the yoke. The back, left front, right front and sleeves are knitted separately until the yoke and kept on a spare needle or stitch holder. All pieces are slipped onto the same needle for the yoke and knitted in one piece.
The pattern uses double knitting wool (an alternative for overseas knitters would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply) and you will need 3.25mm and 4mm (USA size 3 and 6) straight needles, 1 x 4mm cable needle and 3 buttons.
The picture shows the jacket knitted for size 6-12 months using:
Rico Baby Classic DK shades: Green (027), Red (009) and White (001)
Stylecraft DK shades; Black (1002), Walnut (1054) and Sunshine (1114)
