Foxy Friends Wristers
I designed these Wristers to be a cheerful counterpoint to the dark, cold days of January. I must admit that after the excitement of New Year and the holidays, and a glut of present knitting, there is nothing I like better than a cheerful and selfish knit for myself. These little Foxy Friends knits are just the thing to add a touch of woodland whimsy to everyday reality.
These were first published as Foxy Wristies in Knit Now Issue 30, this included the instructions for the Foxy original reverse stocking stitch version. I thought Foxy needed friends – and being keen to cut down on the amount of purling required, developed the No Purl (almost) Version*, which is a stocking stitch version of the original. Now I’m very pleased to introduce Badger and Racoon to their Foxy friend.
No Purl (almost) Version* - This isn’t really no purl, but it does have far fewer purl stitches, than the orginal reverse stocking stitch version. There are between 444 and 712 purl stitches depe
