Knit in a DK wool/silk blend that is both rustic and elegant, Glaciology is a cozy, textured shawl for fall and winter.

Main Color (MC): 570 yards (525 m)
Contrasting Color (CC): 35 yard (32 m)
Sample shown in Yarn Love Audrey Hepburn, an 85/15 Polwarth/silk blend. The sample used one skein of MC for the body and one skein of MC for the edging, making this appropriate for combining two skeins of different dye lots. Alternatively, a third color could be used: one skein for the body, one skein for the edging, and a small amount of a third skein for the CC stripes.
Skills needed: wrap and turn short rows, slip stitches, basic decreases and yo increases
