The cowl is worked in the round in one piece. No seaming required. The samples in the photos here are done in SweetGeorgia CashSilk Lace (slate) and Malabrigo Silkpaca (azul profundo). Any lace weight yarn, particularly a silk or cashmere blend, may be used. Finished measurements: Approximately 76 cm long and 20 cm wide laid flat; approximately 152 cm in circumference. Skills required: knitting in the round; knitting lace: k, k2tog, yo, (sl1, k1, psso); blocking lace. It’s also important to be able to cast on and bind off very loosely.
