Product Details
The Hood River Cowl - This brocaded cowl’s inspiration came at the 2013 Columbia Gorge Fiber Festival in Hood River, Oregon. It is worked in the round and has alternating sections of X’s and O’s and single-color corrugated ribbed edging. I particularly love corrugated ribbing in colorwork, and wanted to adapt it for use in a single color. It creates a lovely, architectural edging, but it will not have the elasticity of regular ribbing and will make a firmer fabric.
If you plan to substitute yarn, please note that sizes Small, Medium and Large require 350-450 yards. Size Extra Large requires 850-1,000 yards.
This pattern has been tech edited and test knitted.
