It’s time to shake those holiday bells and booties! You have the option to knit the entire bootie flat, or you can knit the cuff in the round and minimize seaming even more! Directions provided to knit metallic bobbles instead of attaching bells as you knit.

Extra small (0-3 mos) [Small (3-6 mos)] sizes: Any fingering weight yarn (3-ply): approx. 10g [15g] each of C1 and C2 (for stripes), approx. 5g [8g] each of C3 and C4 (for cuff); uses 2.25mm needles to knit the whole bootie, OR 2.25mm straights for the foot and 2.25mm to knit cuff in the round.
Medium (6-9 mos) [Large (9-12 mos)] sizes: Any sport weight yarn (4-ply): approx. 15g [20g] each of C1 and C2 (for stripes), approx. 8g [10g] each of C3 and C4 (for cuff); uses 2.75mm needles to knit the whole bootie, OR 2.75mm straights for the foot and 2.75mm dpns to knit cuff in the round.
Optional for all sizes: approx. 5g [10g] metallic crochet thread for bobbles (if not using bells).
