Knit stripes by carrying yarn
When you’re knitting stripes, you don’t want to have lots of ends left over to sew in, so in this video we’ll show you how to carry your yarn neatly up the side of your work!
Step by step
- Carry the yarn not in use up side of work instead of breaking and introducing it at every colour change.
- Insert the right needle into the first stitch. Place the yarn to be carried over the working yarn.
- Work the first stitch catching the second yarn
