This pattern can be easily transformed into a dog for those are better calmed by Doggie’s presence.
The model is designed to be soft for a toddler but the legs can be stiffened with a pipe cleaner if your intended recipient is a bit older. Knit with bulky yarn on size 9 double pointed needles, this project goes quickly.
This Lambie sample is knit with 1 ball of Knit Picks Twirl in Cream but any bulky-weight boucle would be a good substitute.
Doggie is pictured knit in bulky weight handspun natural brown wool. Fingering weight yarn or embroidery floss can be used to embroider on the eyes, nose and hooves. This is a quick and comforting project for any little (or big) friends who need a small buddy.
