Product Details
It’s a common misconception that nothing grows on the arctic tundra. There is actually quite a lot that thrives in this barren landscape. This pattern celebrates a few of these unique plants including lichen, cloudberries, and moss while this beautiful gradient colourway captures the beautiful colours of this landscape. This is a sideways asymmetrical shawl and it uses increases and decreases to create a long triangular shape that is easy to wear. Any fingering weight yarn is suitable, especially gradient colours.
Newly revised pattern includes notes, list of abbreviations, diagram, and written and charted instructions. Finished measurements: Approximately 20 inches (51 cm) deep at middle point and 60 inches (152 cm) long across top edge, blocked. Skills required: knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing, blocking. Stitches used: k, p, kfb, k2tog, LT, S2KP2, yo.
