Based on the stitch pattern from my [Rufus Socks][2]. Garter body with lacy/textured edging worked sideways along the edge of the shawl (all in one piece with minimal binding off). Pattern now includes instructions for a smaller/narrower border (shown in photos - for those with skeins of around 400 yards) and a slightly wider/larger border for those with more yardage.
This shawl is now available for individual purchase and as part of my first shawl collection - VBM Shawl Collection 1. The collection features four original shawl designs, including the Coriolis Shawl, the Bernoulli Shawl, the Logwood Shawl, and the Irish Moss Shawl. All patterns in the collection include both charted and written instructions.
