My Foxy Fraise
my foxy fraise | a long foxy scarf to curl around your neck and snuggle into!
fraise (freiz) n. a ruff worn around the neck in the 16th century
I used . . .
Rowan Felted Tweed DK in SH175 Cinnamon (nearly 2 balls - 350m)
Rowan Tweed in SH595 Pendle (7.2m)
Bergere de France Cabourg in 24564 Nature (6m)
3.5mm crochet hook
I use US crochet terms and you'll only need to know a few basics - forming magic rings, single/double crochet and single/double crochet increasing and decreasing.
The finished scarf measures 147cm x 6cm from nose to tail and will wrap around the neck twice. It could be made into a shorter scarf for kids or a single wrap scarf/ collar by simply doing less rounds on the body section.
