Mysteriosa Cowl is a cosy, textured cowl knitted top down in one piece with a slight flaring toward the bottom.
And yes, this is how the Mysteriosa Shawl started out – as this cowl.
- It's not lacy, although there are holes.
- There is no stranded colourwork but contrasting colour accents appear.
- There are no p2tog or p2togtbl.
Easily upsized for a larger cowl or to work with 4ply/sock yarn. (The pattern includes counts and cast on also for such a larger version but only the original size has been test knitted.)
Mysteriosa Cowl requires less than one skein of DK (or sock yarn). If you want a larger cowl, either follow the suggested larger counts or add one or more repeats to the cast on, and lengthwise, too.
