This shawl draws its inspiration from winter, and in particular the breathtaking icicles found during the early and late parts of winter.
The shawl can be knit as a square shawl or a triangular shawl (or why not one of each?).
My shawl is knit on 3.25 mm needles, using 10/2 Tencel (laceweight) yarn from Yarntopia Treasures (1,050 yds per 4 oz skein) in the New York colourway. The square shawl uses 2 skeins (approx. 2,100 yds) of the Tencel yarn, and the triangular shawl uses 1 skein (approx 1,050 yds).
As always, yarn substitutions are encouraged.
