This is my take on the classic owl cable pattern. Owls Retreat is knit in one piece from the bottom up; it is shaped with simple short rows and finished with an optional icord bind off. The owls are achieved with a combination of slipped stitches and cables, which means that you will be only working with one yarn at a time.
The pattern includes comprehensive notes on all of the techniques used including how to add beads with a crochet hook. This is a written pattern with no charts.
This pattern has been fully tech-edited.
