I originally bought the yarn last year with the intention of making my sister a cowl for Christmas. I underestimated the time it would take for my projects at the time to complete (also Christmas presents) which resulted in me putting the wool into storage.
Its her birthday next month so I finally started it with some caution as it used techniques I have never used before. I really enjoyed the pattern and was amazed at how quickly it grew. The only issue was after finishing I was left with nearly a whole skein of yarn left!
After some deliberation I caved and made myself one using the same pattern but mixing it up to include a cream cotton to break up the green (and so we didn't match).
