    About

This is my second time knitting this Ravelry favorite pattern, and once again it solves what to do with three small batches of a discontinued yarn.

The challenge is different this time, because it is a DK rather than an Aran yarn. I did a swatch that appeared to match the gauge, but it is turning out very different from my first effort. I like how the cotton-wool combination knits tightly, and I am having to use the Try-it-on-every two inches method for fit, because the stitch count is wildly different, and I haven’t figured out the math.

It turned out much better than my previous sweater in this pattern, because of the additional year of experience. The neck still needed a row of crochet inside to tighten it, but that was easy.
