    I am working on the pattern for a cabled border that will fit around my cabled dragon but is very flexible. It can be knitted into a rectangular shape and the pattern between the corners can be replaced by different patterns... Basically, everybody can design her or his own pattern following the rules explained in the pattern :)

    As for the dragon any yarn weight can be used. The 'thicker' the yarn, the bigger the dragon and/or frame:)

    The main image shows both worked in Drops Alaska, needle size 4.5mm. The framed dragon is 53.5 cm / 21 inch each side.

        I actually do have the pattern for sale but not on lovecrafts. It is on ravelry dot com with the name "Mitered cabled corners border".
