Hi Lucy, I've just now started with one of Heidi Kirrmaier's designs - it is the first time for me to knit in the round, top down, short rows etc. This will be my next project. I absolutely love the colour of your yarn!

Hi Marlene, thank you, I’m glad you like it. I hope you get on well with knitting in the round, it’s such a great system, no seams to sew up at the end! I always use patterns with this method now. I’ll look out for your finished project!

      What yarn did you use?

Hi Karen, I used King Cole Bamboo Cotton DK - Colour Oyster (543) and Pebble (610). It seemed to work out the same as the pattern ie the same quantity of each colour.

I really like this in the 2 colour blocks you have knitted. This is going on my list of things to make!

Hi Lucy, I'm thinking of knitting this jumper like you have done with block colour not stripes. Can you remember the quantities of each yarn that you used ( was it the same as in the pattern)?

Hi Sally, yes, I ordered the amount specified on the pattern because I was originally planning to do the stripes. Looking at my wool ends I appear to have the same amount of each left over, which is less than one ball of each colour. Which suggests the pattern is just about right for my version as well as theirs. Hope it goes well, I'll look out for a picture of the finished product x

Wow, looks so lovely. I am about to purchase this pattern - was considering knitting in a block navy colour, but I do like your larger 'stripes'.
