My new linen top is ready and I'm very pleased with the result. I found a small stash of this beautiful steal-colored linen yarn for sale and really, really wanted to work with it. I'm so in love with it, everyone wants to touch it. Hoping the yarn would be enough, I decided for a tank top. So I did a lot of pattern research for orientation what type of top needs how much yardage. The final pattern is improvised. I wrote the pattern down for you (see below). In the end, I even had skeins left, so that research was a good idea. It's dc-stitch all the way so that it's not too stiff, not too transparent, the lovely material gets to speak for itself and I wouldn't run out of yarn. It's a perfect summer yarn which is a mix of cotton, rayon, and linen. The yarn has aran weight and is rather heavy (only 80m per 50g). Working with it is a bit more tricky and the piece surely will be delicate care, but it's worth it. I added GGH Linova to suggest an alternative yarn.
