This is an excellent pattern and I love the antler design on the yoke. I worked it up per the instructions, but if I use this pattern again I will make the arms a little shorter, the yoke depth a little longer, and I will use a size larger needles on the yoke. I used Louet Gems worsted yarn, and completed it almost a year ago except for the buttons. I was not happy with it and stuck it in a drawer. It was all dense and the antler design seemed strangled and tight. I rediscovered it last week and decided to try to revive it. Gave it a really long soak. Well, this yarn needs to soak. It completely relaxed and became all soft and drapey. Left it flat to get almost dry and then put it in the dryer to finish with a fabric softener sheet. Oh, now it's really soft, soft, soft. The yarn is 100% merino and washes and dries beautifully. Tightly spun and no pilling.
