Merion wrote a lovely post on the LoveKnitting blog about making the most of one's sale bargains. One of the patterns featured in that post was this cardigan which is perfect for beginners. I'm giving it a go!
Your work is really nice,and neat. I learned to knit and purl when I was a tween .. .many, many moons ago as, I have 5 grandchildren now! I mainly crochet but have thought about learning to knit properly. I'm straddling the fence rail on this. Wondering if its worth giving it a try. What does your girlfriend think about your new hobby? I bet she hiding out with knitting books looking for beautiful clothes for you to knit!!! I would!! Good luck in your new endeavor! I'm very proud FOR you.
