    About

I bought too much yarn for a previous project and this used up some of it. I love the appearance of this pattern, but I found that it was quite challenging once the sleeve sts. were added to the body, A wide expanse of sleeve sts. were arching over 4 bound-off body sts. and the instructions say that this pattern can be knit using straight needles? Not possible. I used magic loop (awkwardly) to navigate the tight squish until many rows of yoke were done. I will use this pattern again because it is so nifty, but this time I will be prepared for some aggravation. I used a cotton blend yarn and found that it is not the best choice - a more stretchy, blockable yarn would be better.

    Yarns

    • material-yarn
Knitpicks Shine Sport - Crocus 0.5 balls
    • material-yarn
Knitpicks Shine Sport - Peapod 4.0 balls

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 3.50mm (US 4) 80cm
    • Circular 3.25mm (US 3) 80cm

    Accessories

    • Stitch Holder
    • Stitch Markers
    • Tapestry Needle

    Measurements

    6-12 months cm

Notes: Regarding the fit, when I make this again I will make the sleeves a little bit shorter. If the cuffs are rolled up, now the ends that were worked in are visible. So I would just make shorter sleeves to discourage rolling up.

Thank you, Good. I see that you are from New Zealand. (I'm in the US.) My daughter and grandson live in Rolleston west of Christchurch. Such a beautiful country and so good for my grandson.
