    The wool was actually intended for a friend's socks. I took it in to show my Aunt, who was in hospital, and she liked it so much I said I would make her the socks. I have re-ordered the wool for my friend's socks and am awaiting its delivery from America.

      This wool is beautifully soft. I learned from knitting these socks that the less they are handled the better, because they looked slightly felted before they had even got off the needles.
