    About

    I'm actually adapting this pattern as I go , as the baby is only weeks old and the pattern is for 0-6months. Also it's for Aran wool and I'm using a Tinsel type wool that knits up as chunky. Because of the Tinsel wool it is impossible to knit the cable borders so I've crocheted an edging around the bolero ,giving it a finished off look. At the neck edge I've knitted a garter stitch border as the pattern suggested .But I've only put on one button keeping it simple.

      No I didn’t,as the wool was so fluffy it kept getting tangled up so I just crocheted a simple border around the edge. The pattern is really nice to knit and comes up lovely :)

      Did you knit the twist around the edge as picture doesn't show it? How did you find knitting it from a tinsel wool? Love the design.
