Hello Jane. The white cocoon & hat is made from 2 strands of acrylic yarn (one white and one white with spots). The openings are finished with a white polyester pile yarn. It's machine washable, but not suitable for tumble drying or ironing. I've added another photo, a bit closer so that you can better see it. The lighting isn't too good on this one as it's taken in artificial lighting. The cocoon & hat sets are £12 plus postage :)
