      I just about to start this project and made tension. Would you know if this pattern accounts shrinkage of cotton yarn when it washed?

        Hi Mimi, I gave as present and I haven't had any shrinkage comments back from my friend. I would hand wash anyway, so I wouldn't expect shrinkage.
        Unless the pattern/ball band states otherwise, I personally wouldn't expect shrinkage either.

        From what I remember I had difficulty too. I sat back and looked at what I would expect and also followed the pattern after reading it through many times. I don’t think that I attached the belt pieces as per the pattern instructions- I did what I thought was best. Very fiddly with the colour changes too and sewing in all the yarn ends. All in all I was really happy that I finished it, but wouldn’t want to make it again. Is there a particular part that you having problems with?
