    About

Just saw these and had to make them for my grandson. Naturally, I could not stop at one pair so started a pair for my granddaughter.

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Double Point 3.00mm (US 2.5) 15cm
    • Double Point 2.50mm (US 1.5) 15cm
    • Single Point 2.50mm (US 1.5) 25cm
    • Crochet Hook 2.75mm (US 2)
    • Single Point 3.00mm (US 2.5) 25cm
    • Single Point 3.25mm (US 3) 25cm

    Accessories

    • Stitch Holder
    • Tapestry Needle
Other : I only used a crochet hook in order to retrieve dropped stitches; my eyesight is still a bit blurred and I seem to be dropping a fair few of these tiny stitches. DPNS for grafting the sole.

    Measurements

    3-6 months and 0 -3 months

Notes: I used slightly larger needles to make a slightly bigger size. Quinn's feet are smaller than her cousins so I used the needles suggested in the pattern. I also used DPNS to graft the sole rather than cast off and make up. I looked on You Tube for advice on grafting garter stitch.

I stuffed the sneakers with tissue paper to make them stand up so they look a bit odd.
