I love when I am sent pictures of my designs made by others. This is a lovely interpretation of my baby animal hat set. The original design was for a grey squirrel, but this Red Squirrel version is just fantastic! And look at the amazing tale made from merino tops in am atching colour. I really hope the parents love this new baby gift!
Doesn't it?! Christine, such an ingenius use of the material. The tale was made by braiding the knitting yarn until it was about 20cm long, then individual strands of the merino tops were attached and then pulled apart unitl they looked al fluffy!
