When we found out my sister was going to have a baby my mum decided to knit her a baby blanket. As there was quite a bit of yarn left over I thought I'd give baby booties a go. The blanket turned out great with the colour merge but it meant that I ended up making two different coloured booties. Never mind I'm still pleased with them as a first attempt.
Sorry Margaret only just logged in & seen your message. I had the pattern from the first issue of Simply Stylish knitting magazine they were advertised as Baby ballerina slippers. I've had a look & you can order the first issue online for 99p or it's free if you take out a subscription. Hope that's helpful. Sorry it took me so long to reply.
