Sadly the yarn was left over from an unfinished project. School boy error, I know!
While making the Aran Cardie, for baby 1, Jack. I had found the pattern very difficult. Also, it wasn't until i got towards the end, that i realised I was making the girls version and not the boys. By this point, the baby has had a massive growth spurt, and 0 to 3 months no longer feels big enough.
I can't undo what i've knitted, as the wool is so soft, it's matted together.
Another friend has, by this time had a baby boy. Baby number 2, Toya
so, i discovered the Love Knitting website, and bought a new pattern. Worried i probably only have enough wool left over for the smaller size. I make a 0 to 3 month, for baby number 2.
the good news is, that I still have some wool left over. So am now searching for a bobble hat pattern, to make for baby number 1.
