    About

Well, the real reason why I chose this pattern is that the little boy modeling the sweater is just so cute! The pattern calls for using Knitpicks Shine Sport yarn, which I really like. But I had just knit 2 little cardigans with it. I had some Cascade Heritage 150 in my stash and wanted to use it. It is terrific yarn - no splitting, no fuzz, very soft, strong and machine washable. It's described as sport yarn, but I think it's closer to fingering.

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 2.25mm (US 1) 80cm

    Accessories

    • Buttons
    • Stitch Markers
    • Tapestry Needle

    Measurements

Notes: I used the stich count for 12 mo. size, but since the yarn I was using was a lighter weight than the pattern called for, I used smaller needles and the little sweater will fit a 3-6 month old.

Thank you, Alison. If you have never used Cascade Heritage 150, you might give it a go. This is the first time I used it, and I'm in love.
