    Louella is creating a " hope chest" for her grandchildren to be so that she has a stash of hand knitted items when time comes. Great idea! I think I will start the same for my future grandchildren.

    Notes: I changed the pattern as I thought that the whole jacket in seed stitch was too busy and took away from the star pattern, so I made the rest of the jacket in stocking stitch to accentuate the star pattern
