One Ball Baby Cardigan FF08 by Frances Fletcher - Viridian - I got it from Laughing Hens as a PDF download. I liked the colours of the yarn they had used for the photo in the pattern, though that yarn seems to be discontinued. There are loads of others to choose from however - probably too many!

It's a simple pattern, but very effective - some of the stripey sock yarns are quite striking with their colour combinations. (That's my second one.)

@Susan J: I love working with sock yarn and the like. If u look in my projects I made the Macaw cardigan. Not sure if by same designer but I bought them at the same time.

@Vix: I remember seeing that pattern too and liked it - I think it is by the same designer. It looks quite a bit more complicated though... I much prefer your versions to the one on the pattern. Did they take a lot of planning for the colours?

@Susan J: No I did one side then did the other to match. It was the way the yarn went! Apart from navy and red borders I manipulated them. It was much easier than it looks. I made it for GP I worked with. He said they were always being stopped and asked where they bought it. Good compliment huh?

@Susan J: It is very enjoyable to knit. I made a pink version also. Have a go then post it! I love using multi coloured yarn.
