    About

My daughter just sent me a photo of Aahana in a cardigan that I knitted for the twins who are now 9. It has flowers embroided on the front. I also knitted a white one. Just shows how well hand knits last.

It's fabulous when people keep your knits. My friend has sent the clothes I made for my godson to him for his son. Jamie is now 30. He has lived in Australia for 10 yrs. Beautiful little girl.

What a lovely story :) Isn't it is so nice to know that what you knit has been so well used. It's nice to hear of others knitting whilst away in their campers/caravans.

Yes, it is great to see the things you knitted years ago in use again. With seven grand daughters the knits have been well used, though I still knit new ones for them. I can't sit in the car while we are travelling without my knitting, as long as it isn't too complicated.

Thank you Michelle. I just loved Mildura, we did a paddle boat ride yesterday, it was just perfect weather. Burra is in South Australia. We are staying there for three nights and then heading up to the Flinders Ranges.
