    About

I love vintage baby clothes and love knitting them in bamboo yarn because it's so soft on baby skin.

Hi, hope you can help, I’m knitting the rompers and have ended up with 5 stitches more on the left side than the right, I’ve started this three times thinking I’m doing something wrong? Is this correct?

@Helen C: Left and Right side should be the same. Can you let me know which area you are referring to, regarding where you have the extra 5sts. If you could let me know page number you are working on and section... ie. page 6, first column, half way down, under heading (heading name here would also help). Once I have this info I will get back to you a.s.a.p.

Too cute! Where can I buy the pattern? Is it knit in one piece (top down)?

Hi Chris. No, not knitted top down. It is knitted from bottom up in 2 pieces...front & back. Then leg bands added once side-seams sewn up. Pattern is available from loveknitting.com at http://www.loveknitting.com/baby-girls-a-line-dress-with-bolero-and-rompers-knitting-pattern-by-oge-knitwear-designs

My mother-in-law used to knit this type of pattern when my boys were babies.
