    About

Warm, seamless and suitable for a beginning knitter. Aran or heavy worsted yarn is used on smallish needles to create a thick warm fabric. The ribbed brim folds over double to snuggle around the baby’s face. The ties are knit continuously with the garter stitch neckband. Skills required are basic knit and purl stitches, increase, decrease, working in the round using magic loop and picking up stitches. The bonnet is suitable for a boy or girl. It’s a good stash busting project since it uses such a small amount of yarn. Contrasting brim and ties, or even stripes would work, enhancing the stash buster possibilities. This is my own pattern.
