Hi Sarah! Thank you for the compliment. I had leftover wool from making the sweater, so I just used part of the sweater motif and figured out how to incorporate it into a standard beanie hat pattern. Turned out better than I thought it would! Kim.
Hello!
I’d be happy to help you, if you could elaborate on the problem you are having. I discovered no mistakes in the pattern I used. The sweater is knit from the collar down. You also have to follow the instructions for each row carefully in the yoke, and place the markers exactly as written, because you will be knitting and increasing stitches between these markers. This is a rather complex pattern and required a fair amount of my concentration when I was making it, but it was worth it in the end! Kim.
I had problems too! If you follow the pattern correctly the front becomes the back! Then the birds are in the wrong place. However, I shall wear it back to front!
An acquaintance of mine had the same problem independently and has unpicked it all and started again!
