      Hi Alice
      I am making these lovely (hopefully) boot socks. Can you tell me if you cut the yarn between colour changes or carry it behind. Also did you do anything to hide the "jogs" in the stripes?

        Hi Katie. I didn't cut the yarn. I just carried it down (not even behind). I don't mind too much about the jogs (you can see them a bit on the main picture above), personally, but I've used two 'techniques' to minimise them: one is that I just pulled the last stitch particularly tight when switching to the new colour, and the other is slipping the first stitch of the new colour, rather than knitting it.
