    I am knitting heirlooms for my grandchildren so even though they are only teenagers they will have something to remember me by when I'm gone as I'm getting older and my health is failing. It was hard work but worth it

      Beautiful. What a wonderful heirloom you have made. Your granddaughters are so lucky. I treasure mine that my mum made for my daughter nearly 40 years ago, it brings me great comfort and joy.
