Started off as a joke but I have received many requests for this mitt, it is a must if you live in Northern Ontario. Pattern can be found at Raverly,. or many patterns on line.
I never made the other mitt. I figured people would have there own gloves/mittens and would pull this one out of their pocket when they need it. Did you make yours on straight needles/DPN or completely on DPNs?
Congratulations! It looks great. They do attract a lot of attention. I made one for my brother in Maine. His wife made one for an auction and it went for something like $75. She may have made a regular mitten for the other hand, I'm not sure. Did you make a regular mitten to make a pair? When I started the pattern, I had a hard time visualizing how it would all come together. Have fun filling all those requests!
