    #whyiknit so I knit because it means I can get an idea and turn it into reality!!! My daughter picked this book (Edie) out in the library and I thought she’d look cute in a beret, so I made a pattern and created it! It needs a pink pompom to finish it off.

    I find that as a parent it’s sometimes hard to know where all the time goes! So by creating something I can see what I’ve done/created with my down time. It’s also time to do something just for me, even if the end product is for someone else. My knitting is my me time.

        Thanks, so glad you like it. No, I’ve only written the pattern yesterday whilst knitting. I’d have to check it makes sense for other people first too, and I’ve only done Birdie’s size, so I’d have to think about sizing.
