Having made a few puppies I thought it was time to tackle a Corgi. These dogs were very prominent in my childhood, my parents were very fond of the breed and bred them for a short time.
One of the many things I remember about them are the ears, they're born with floppy ears and they ascend up either side of the head at different times making them look very comical, also the huge white paws. I think I've managed to capture both.
I puzzled about the tail, docking them has I think died out, but at the time corgis were still working dogs so I decided to follow the common practise of the time and give my Betsy a tiny tail.
